Signing up for sessions with the cart is an important process that both parents and students should be familiar with. This guide will provide information on how to sign up for an AfterSchool HQ account as a parent, as well for sessions with the cart.
1. Go to the AHQ website and sign up! Select at the top right-hand corner of your screen.
2. Next you will find the Welcome page! Select
3. Select "Create an Individual Account" followed by "Enroll my child in a program" as shown below.
4. Here, you need to type in the correct name of the school, organization or program that you will register your child to.
Once you start typing, names of providers will start populating in the drop down. You may choose the correct provider to help with the synchronization and correctly register your child.
Select continue!
5. You will be taken to the profile of the school, organization or program. Select "View All Activities".
6. Click on "View Details"
7. Here you will find the list of activities that you can enroll your child to. You can also see on the top right-hand corner of the screen, the cart image, in red and marked with "0". This means you have not selected an activity yet.
8. In order to select an activity and add to the cart. Click on the image of the + next to " View Details" on the Activity that you have chosen to enroll your child to.
The Cart on the top right-hand corner of the screen, will turn turquoise and change to "1". You can select however many activities you'd like but please double check schedules for each activity so that you don't double book.
9. Once you are done selecting the activities you can select the cart on the top right-hand side of your screen. You will be able to view the activities that you have chosen. Click on "Register 1 Student"
10. Here, you will be able to select a child if you already have one on file or "Add Child", if you need to add you child's information.
11. You will have to answer the questions about your child. The "Parent E-Signature" is very important and then click on "Complete Registration".
12. If you choose "Add Child"...
You will also have to put in your child's information...
Type in the correct school and select from drop down...
