How to Register a Child for an Activity

It's not always about the grades and test scores. Your child's experiences outside the classroom can have an equally significant impact on their character development and academic success. As parents ourselves, we understand the importance of your child's future. Whether it's gaining time management skills, strengthening the mind, or finding new ways to manage stress, afterschool programs can significantly impact a child's happiness and well-being.

Luckily, AfterSchool HQ has created the perfect tool to help transform your child's life and get them involved in a new afterschool experience!

To create your family account Click Here

1. Select the Get Started icon.

2. Click the Create an Individual Account option.

3. Select the option that best describes your organization.

4. Add or Enter the name of your organization in the text box.

5. Browse through the available activities at your school and pick the one you and your child will enjoy. Then, by clicking "View Details," you will begin the signup process.

• Click the Register Now icon then follow the instructions to complete the sign-up.

This will open the Parent Sign Up/ Sign In screen. If you have an existing account with children, your screen might look like this:

You will be able to see if your child is eligible or not and the reason such as grade. Or if you need to update a profile. And even if you need to apply for the activity.

AHQ TIP: Use the "New Child" button on this screen to add more children to your family profile.

If this is your first time using AHQ and you do not already have an account created, you will be guided through a six-step registration process. Don't worry. I've got some directions and photos to walk you through it.

• Student/Parent Sign Up. This is where you would enter your information.
• Enter Your Home Address.
• Additional Parent/Guardian (Add dad!)
• Emergency Contact- You can add two contacts here.
• Optional Student Health Information. 

Please note: You will NOT be able to delete duplicate profiles for your family or past activities

on our platform at the moment.

Now, provide your virtual signature and payment details to complete registration.
