We understand that taking student attendance for your activity is very important, especially if you are using Attendance-Based Billing.
The article below covers how you can take student attendance as a School Administrator on AHQ.
1. From the homepage, navigate to the Activity Center ⚡️ tab on the left-hand sidebar, then click Extracurricular Activities ⚡️
2. Then click on the "Manage" button next to the associated activity.
3. This will take you to the activity summary page. Once there, click the "Attendance" tab at the top of the page.
4. This screen displays an overview of the attendance for your selected activity including how many times this activity has met, the attendance rate %, and the total of present and absent students per meeting.
5. From here, you can click the "View Details" button next to the date that you would like to view/edit.
6. You can also take a new attendance by clicking the 'Take Attendance Button'. This will open a new screen where you can mark which students are present and which are absent. If your activity is set up as "Continuous Enrollment" you will not be able to select a date.
7. Select the date of the activity.
8. Mark which students are present and which are absent. Attendance is now listed in alphabetical order when taking attendance.
9. Don't forget to "Save".
