How to Add Authorized People to Pick Up Your Kids

Step 1. Login to your AfterSchool HQ account.

Step 2. Click Profile located on the left-hand side.

Step 3. Click Check In/Out

Step 4. Add Authorized Pick Up Person

To add additional authorized people, click Add another authorized person. Each student's access is managed individually, so if you want to give a person authorization for multiple students, you will need to do this for each one.

Here you will need to enter their First Name, Last Name, and Mobile Phone Number. Once you have finished, click the green arrow located on the right-hand side.

❗After adding the person, click "Save" at the bottom to send the text invitation❗

After saving, you have the option to Edit the contact you just added, resend the invitation, or cancel the invitation. You can only edit an authorized person's information if they have not set up their PIN Code. Once they go through the setup process, you will no longer be able to make edits (but you can revoke access).

 If they do not receive the text notification or missed it coming through, click Resend Invite.

The newly added authorized person will receive a text message on their mobile device. They will need to open the link attached to set up their PIN Code.

An explanation for the text message will be provided here. They will enter a 4-digit PIN code and click Next.

They will confirm their PIN code once more.

⭐ Their PIN has been successfully set up. ⭐

Now when it comes time for you or another authorized parent/guardian to scan an attendance QR code to Check In or Check out your student, you'll be able to do it with no issues.
