In this support article, we will go over the steps to remove and restore access to authorized people using Check In & Check Out. An authorized person is someone who is designated by the parent or guardian as someone who is allowed to check in or check out their child. An authorized person's access can be revoked and/or restored at any time.
Step 1. Login to your AfterSchool HQ account.
Step 2. Click Profile located on the left-hand side.
Step 3. Click Check In/Out located at the top.
To Remove Access
Locate the authorized person and click Remove Access on the right-hand side.
The name and phone number of the (previously) authorized person will be greyed out with the words "Access Revoked" added next to it.
Click Save.
Note: If at any time an authorized person has changed their phone number, they will need to remove access to the previous phone number and add the new one. Click here for steps to add an authorized person and skip to the section labeled, "Managing Access in AHQ Platform".
To Restore Access
Locate the authorized person that had their access revoked and click Restore Access located on the right-hand side.
The restored contact will no longer have the text "Access Revoked" next to their name and will have access to Check In/Out.
